Default Yellow Dog Update

Turned 100,000 miles today.
I started her up without having to charge the battery and she had been in the barn for 10 months while I completed anothe 75 2.0L that I intended to sell. Turned 100,000 on the way home.
What a trooper. Yellow Dog is a 75 bone stock 1.8L car that I bought 15 years ago from a junk yard because it just would'nt run and needed painting. The Main problem was the oil cap seal.
I have only had to change the oil once a year and I put plugs and points in about 6 years ago. Always starts, always wants to go somewhere, she has been to 3 East Coast rambles.
Original interior and the motor has never been apart, except for other than to seal the oil tubes.
Still Last but fast Yellow Dog.

another 100K 914... nice.

Put 100K on my '71 reasonably quickly, but the last 10K have taken nearly 20-25 years!

Enjoy!!
