Nice knock off spinners!!!

My '71 was turbo-ed for a while as well. A good friend of mine is a long time Porsche mechanic with several Bonneville speed records to his name ( some in a Carrera Speedster back in the 60's) made a turbo unit for the car- we had water injection etc. Fun to play with but a fair amount of turbo lag. Turbo was mounted top side with side draft carb, so always had heat issues. Did make it back and forth to Road America from Iowa with it. Turbo badge on back always drew a crowd in Porsche Park by corner 5... ah, the good old days...

My '72, started life as a Bahia Red 1.7 liter with tail shifter.

Made some minor upgrades: steel GT flares, GT front valance, flared rockers, bare metal repaint, 2.2 liter 4 cylinder engine with side shifter transmission, a complete tan interior and European front and rear lenses from my "retired" '74 daily driver.

stv951 now your garage looks more appropriate with your new 914 along side the 911's !
I do like the front euro fenders minus the DOT lamps.
