My silver early '71 went into the shop today for its restoration. A shop near my hometown in Iowa, which usually just does 356's that go all over the world, is doing it as they did my '73 11 years ago. That car even made a story about them in 000 several years ago!

Installed a "new" exhaust on the '73 today. Embarrassed to say I found it in a box way up on a shelf and had forgotten about it!! Sounds great- all ready for the next air-cooled gathering...
