Default 914-4 (1976) Rekeying or complete lock kit ?

Dear Rennlist members,

Does anyone know where to buy a "rekeying kit" with tumblers for a 914 (1976) ? I suspect that VW has the same locking cylinders on the doors and trunk lid, but I have know idea in regards to the steering/ignition lock.

It seem to be diffucult to buy a complete lock kit with new keys, but if anaone knows where to get his, please let me know :-)

super easy to rekey the exterior tumblers, no need to replace parts, ignition is tougher...

I got a complete new set for my 914-6 when I was restoring it back in the 80's from Stoddard, including the ignition part which is obviously unique to the six. Stoddard is totally different now, but has a lot of NLA stuff so you might give them a try...
