Default Won't start.Injector Issue?

I am trying to get my recently traded 1971 914 running. It will run on starting fluid but does not seem to be getting fuel passed the injectors. The fuel pump is working and i have fuel to the injectors. They do not seem to be opening and I need some advice. ECU? Not sure what else it might be. Any Help would be appreciated.

Must be getting spark if it at least runs for a second with ether or starting fluid. My first guess would be injectors plugged or not getting signal- the list unfortunately may be endless...
Can you pull an injector and turn it over and see if it squirts fuel?? Have a fire extinguisher handy!!

I'll try that next. I am going to check the electrical connection at the injector also.
Thanks. I'll let you know how I make out.

If you find the injectors are getting a signal, check the injector trigger points in the distributor. The do go bad on occasion and they are the start of the process.
