Hi there,
I have read about a "901 transmission rebuild course" by a person listening to the name of "dr Evil". There are also dvd's covering this subject, by the same dr Evil. Anyone know where to buy these dvd's?

The video's are pretty much useless if you got a manual, he's just making a fast buck on the info you can get from the manuals. Get the factory manual for the most detail. But even the Haynes manual is decent enough for a tranny repair. I rebuilt two trannies with the haynes book as my guide. pretty straight forward stuff.

I have the DVDs. I tend to agree that the Haynes manual tells the story. On the other hand, the video shows how to do a quick rebuild that gets you new synchros with minimal effort (it is still a big time consuming mess). My style was far more ****. I had some trouble getting them to play on my Mac, but I think they work fine on a normal dvd player.
