Just noticed one thing in the engine compartment. The relay box on the driver's side should be horizontal not tipped- looks like they did that to clear a line from the oil tank. Not a big deal but looks weird.
OTT, it really looks clean! Where's the engine lid??

I noticed the relay board. Looks like it was tilted to clear oil lines.

Engine lid is off to work on carbs, it's in perfect shape. The PO even has all of the correct gold 914-6 stickers on e bottom.

congrats on the find. $7k is a steal for that car. Heck, in the kind of condition it looks to be in, $7k would be a good deal for an original 4. The engine, tins, oil tank, suspension, etc alone are worth well north of what you paid.

GLWS!

It cleaned up REALLY well. Nice find for $7K! I am sure you will get way north of the asking price.

If you want to get top dollar for it, advertise it on Bringatrailer.com The europeans are snapping up good examples at good prices, without PPIs. I would hit your steering wheel and dash with a few coats of Forever Black dye to make it look more loved. You may want to advertise at $15K since money doesn't seem to be an object. Good luck

I just sold my '84 911 in 20 hours at the asking price on Pelican Parts. It will be on the way to Germany by March 1st. Granted, mine was low mileage and original but it is true that the Europeans are snatching up good examples...
