Default help with wheels questions

I have two sets of these. Are they original FUCHS? If so, what's special about them?

What does it typically cost to have a set of four cleaned and polished? (one set has been painted)

I was told last week that I would get my car back at the end of this week. (That's "paint and body" for..."see you late spring")

OEM Fuchs are the most sought after original wheels from '73 on 4 bolt 914's. Nice looking if you're staying with 4 bolt hubs and staying original. Many paint the back to "look" like a 911 rose petal but not original. They were never painted by the factory. Strong but not the lighest- the Mahle stove tops from the early cars were lighter.

Probably cost at least $200 a wheel to professionallly refinish to look like new. Try Weidman Wheels in California- they are doing a set of 6X16 Fuchs for me right now as I'm going to 5 bolt hubs for my '73 to match my '71 which has all OEM 914-6 suspension and brakes which I luckily bought way back in the early '70's...

Whats special is that they are light and strong, especially compared to the various steel wheels offered on these cars. As mentioned, the Mahles were a smidge lighter, but they seem even more rare to me than the Fuchs.

iirc, '73 2.0 cars came optioned with these wheels which really set them apart from the 1.7 cars. By '74 I believe they became optional on the 2.0. They were optional on base cars as well.
