Seems high for a car that looks as if it has sat a while. Also, I always questions what "some rust" means. Does that mean a bubble or a hole the size of a football in the floor.

$500 car at best, but then again it has "NO RUST" according to the owner.

This one is interesting because the owner doesn't know which engine it has. Never a good sign!

Here's another one in the Northeast.

I'm not sure I believe the mileage and any project that gets stopped by the bodywork is a little scary but it could just be a drivetrain donor for that price.

Unless you are thinking about buying it for the parts, I would walk away. So many people buy 914's with ideas of fixing them and then dump crazy money into them to only learn that they could have saved money in the end if they just bought a complete car.
However, there is always a chance you find a diamond in the rough. Keep us posted!

Yeah, I really doubt it is a diamond in the rough but I think it would have to be for me to buy it. I don't have the skills to weld new sheet metal and paying someone to do it would not be cost effective. Unfortunately, that may mean I'll never own a 914. A couple good pictures would probably be enough for me to know I don't need to go see it but I had no luck getting those. The guy said it was a perfectly good driver and the chassis was solid but he decided he wanted to fix some rust on the body and that's why it's sanded down now. Not sure how far he got. I don't think I'll be seeing it anytime soon because his wife just gave birth to twins this morning. He probably won't have any free time for at least 4 years.

This car is about a mile from my work. Interesting car, but he wants the $$$$!

I asked for pictures. Given what we have seen rusted 914-6's go for as of late, I would be interested in this one.
