Again, I do not wish to fall into arguments with anyone. Mikey has a business to run, and I wish him well in that. Perhaps he has changed how they were made or something and I have not seen them since. However, last year when I was selling them, I received a number of complaints, so I discontinued selling them. I don't want to drag his name through the mud, so I won't say any more on the matter.
Anyway, bottom line, I have new factory on my car and I have seen a set of these from 914Rubber and they are indistinguishable...

This is in no way true, and I do not feel that it was necessary to post. I like to think that we can all be adults here without resorting to slandering people who you have never talked to. Your accusation that I am an unethical individual doesn't sit very well with me, thank you.

First off, let me be perfectly clear I do not like to chime in on someone else's thread. But with my name being cited and the allegations of complaints received, I need to respond
I'll set the record straight here, for the sake of all involved.
I have and do make these still.
Yes, I did receive a complaint about a bumper top that had deteriorated. It had pockets of rubber that had not mixed thoroughly right below the surface. This is a function of "painting the mold" and then closing and injecting the rubber. It was an isolated problem and I actually went to Gerber Motorsport in Seattle (who was doing all the work on the car). I provided them with an exchange bumper on-site. Mark Peters is the service manager and as this occurred around the holidays it took be 3 weeks to make the arrangement to meet with him and rectify the problem.
The only other complaint was that the internal support did not run end to end on the front bumper. I felt it was redundant as it did bolt to a piece of steel, did actually remedy this in about 3 weeks.
I have no ill will with George, as I'm sure he was not happy when I made a few things he was and undercut his margins. Business is business, enough said.
