1974 914 2.0 litre Needs gasket set synchring2nd
Hi All,
My baby's been in the shop up here in Toronto for 18 months.
Mechanic says he cannot source the parts and I would be most incredibly grateful for any help you can provide in steering me toward a source for these two items:
1. transmision overhaul gasket and seal set.
This will be many paper gaskets and seals.
Transmission code is HA19043. That is the actual number printed on the transmission. dispite what people have told me this is a porsche engine and transmission. The 1.6 litre engine previosly used for the 914 was volkswagon. This one is Porsche.
2. 2nd gear sycro ring. This is a small ring that goes inside the transmission.
