Default Rust free 1975 914

As the title says, this vehicle is in unusually good condition. The pictures will speak for themselves, but I will do my best to describe the vehicle. This is a 2 owner car that was purchased by a long-time loyal customer of ours last spring. After checking the car completely ( the shop owner worked at the Porsche dealer in the late 1960s- early 1970's, making him intracately familiar with the 914 ), we gave our owner a list of what needed to be done for the car to be in excellent mechanical condition. Needless to say, all the repairs were done with no expensee spared.

The engine was removed to change the oil cooler seals, and while it was out, we took advantage of the opportunity to do the following:

Adjust the valves

Change the clutch disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing and the flywheel

The rear main seal of the engine

The engine temp switch

Shifter bushing (no more hitting your knee with the **** while shifting)

I would call this car rust free. There are no holes in the wheel wells, under the battery tray, in the trunk(front or rear), on the floor, door jambs, rear suspension components or their brackets; basically this car has been in a garage its whole life. It was repainted about 10 years ago. This car also comes with a box full of receits and documents authenticating the mileage.

YES, it starts HOT. NO, it does not leak a DROP of oil.

No A/C.

Car was Appraised by AVM Automotive consulting at $13,200 on 7/25/07

We are asking $7000 OBO

For test drives, or to inspect the car ( I will put the vehicle on the lift for you ) please make arrangements by calling Lee at 201-945-2011. This service is only reserved for very serious, committed bidders.

Do you have any pics of the rear truck or the battery tray without the battery in it?

Did you click those two links? Aside from that, I do not have a pic without the battery in the car. If you are very serious about buying, I will take that pic for you. But the battery tray is in good condition.

I am not interested, but those are pics that people are going to want to see. So I figured I would just ask since those questions are coming. Good luck with the sale.
