Question Hand throttle

I've been desperately trying to find a hand throttle for the 914-6. Any one have any ideas?

Hello

The lever can be made from a 356 SC heat lever or from a 914/heat lever. The 356 part is nearly a perfect fit. The rod and the other small parts can also be homemade yet most parts are still aviable in germany. ( Duknow US )

Like Roland mentionned. I can be home made!

Find a heater lever. You will have to install a ball end on it.
Fabricate a bracket that will hold the rod in the center tunnel
Weld a plate on the gas pedal bellcrank (or what ever it is called).
And finally fabricate the rod.

I've done a couple of rods, and brackets. I still need to do a bit of welding to finish them up.

My intentions are not to sell them, but will post instructions on how i built mine.

I have pics of the OEM setup (removed from a 914-6) that someone had sent me a while back. Also got my hands on the dimension of the parts.

I'll post to the 914 list and to this forum once i'm done

Let me know if you still need one as I will have to go and look for it.
