Any one making custom 914-6 heat exchangers
I have a 914 which I am converting to a six with Bursch headers. I was wondering if anybody out there is fabricating custom heat exchanger boxes for a header such as this? Or has anybody tried to do this and ran into problems?

JP,
I have made stainless steel exchangers over six headers. It can be done but it is a pain unless you are good at metal fabrication. I basically made a "clam"shell around the header with an inlet from the engine and used the stock flapper values as an outlet to the cockpit area. It worked but was expensive.
