'72 w/ bad door sills
I've owned Porsches for years but am new to the 914 world. I have found a '72 project car that I am interested in. It has been stored for 9 years. Engine and tranny seem very good. Body is good except for 1 rust spot on front fender AND both door sill are rusted away. I would have to get new sills and have them welded in. Is this very serious? Should I even be considering this car? Oh, and the price is very good.

no offense to anyone but you might want to consider it as a parts car, especially if the price is that nice. that would also depend on what part of the country you are in. if you're out west then that definately sounds like a parts car candidate.
unless it's a 6...
fix?
