Post Fuel INjection?

My injectors are probably the cause of my problems, so I found some, except for they are out of a 1.8 Liter and I have a 2.0. Will they still work?

Thanks

Depends what you understand by work, yes they will function but your car is going to be running pretty lean and you may end up dropping a valve seat, or overheating the engine. You can try and increase the fuel pressure to compensate for a while. I really suggest finding some used 2.0 injectors. What is exactly your problem?

my car now offically has a TON of problems.
First it all started out by losing power in low RPM's. I then decided to do a complete tune up. I replaced the spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor. No better. So I adjusted the valves. No better. Then for some reason the cap ate the rotor. So I put the old one back in for now and it ran "allright" until today, when I parked it in the garage. After I came back an hour or two later to take it out again, it wouldn't start. There is a spark and it turns over, so I'm assuming it's getting no gas. I checked the wires to the fuel pump, and there is electricity going to it. I just don't know anymore. help!

Hello

The 1,8 L engine had a other injection system and as far I know the injectors are not interchangeable due to different resistance and operation voltage.

Hello

Change the points and look if the support plate in the distubutor is still siting correct. Check your timing as well.

If the cap wasn´t a ill produced unit there is something going on. I guess the distributor shaft is worn and dimples the fullcrum wights are frozen and the vacuumcanister don´t pull correct.

After the ignition is trouble free we can turn more attention to the EFI.

Allright I figured out why my car doesn't get any fuel. The pump doesn't get any electricity, and that means no fuel. The fuel pump does work however. I hotwired it using a battery charger. The relay is also fine. But when I tried to hotwire the pump from the relay it didn't start going. It must be the wiring. Unless there is something between the relay and the pump.

Hello

Sorry did forget to mention the simple things.

Also check your main electric circuit board for corrosion from the contacts and on the underside if the tarr is free of cracks.
