Post '74 914 w/5 Fuch alloys in Baltimore Md. salvage yard

Hi all,

I'm a former 914 owner visiting after several years absence. Wanted to give you a heads up on a '74 914 2.0 in Crazy Ray's salvage yard in Baltimore City, Maryland. Baby blue with the usual rust issues but extremely complete and a cursory look shows many of the smaller parts in good shape (won't be for long, sitting out in the elements). Most impressive is the set of five S-package Fuchs alloys, none visibly bent and all in good shape. All alloys are $20 each at Crazy Ray's, regardless of make/model/vintage.

It was there this morning (5 July) but things sometimes disappear quickly to the crusher. I'd have gotten them myself and sold 'em but I don't have the time. Hate to see the valuable bits get smushed, though.

It's a cash-only self-service pick 'n pull, so you'll need to bring your tools, and they won't give you any details on anything over the phone...gotta go see for yourself. It's in the foreign section towards the front of the lot. Hurry to Crazy Ray's pick-n-pull, open 8am-5pm 7 days. Find them at 6201 Erdman Avenue, Baltimore Md. 21205, 410-488-6650.

Hope this helps somebody...
