Way back in 1970, when my SIX was built, Porsche offered an option called a "raised steering wheel hub" consisting of a 50 mm spacer which brought the steering wheel that much closer to the driver and made "spirited" driving more pleasurable and less tiring.

My 86.5 928S has such a raised "sport" steering wheel hub spacer and it is a pleasure to drive.

Does anyone out there know where I might obtain such a spacer for my 914/6 ??? <img src="graemlins/bigok.gif" border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" />
