Yes definitely get rid of the 75-76 system- horrible. I'm not sure they even make the SSI stainless exchangers anymore as I had real trouble finding some recently. Try 914club.com as well as they are a lot more active than the rennlist 914 forum...

Haven't heard too many good things about Automobile Atlanta lately. Most over at 914club.com really trash that place- I haven't bought anything from them for 10-15 years. You might try Performance Products, etc or get a copy of Panorama and look thru the ads.

qball,
Your in NYC and if you have time I would head down to Hershy for the Swap Meet this weekend. They should have something there. But I would get there when it opens since stuff like that goes QUICK. As the guys on this board will tell you, SSI headers are hard to find for 73-74 2.0 cars. Finally, without getting to much into it I would stay as far away from Auto Atlanta as possible. I don't know how they are still in business with that customer relations they have. They are really something! OK, enough of that. Best wishes - Jay

I installed a Bursch (sp) one piece on my 75-1.8 - it is great.

I just ordered one, hard time finding 2.0 ssi for the change over so for now I'll just keep the stock exchangers and replace the muffler

Forgot to mention - you get 10% more horsepower - the claim unsubstantiated - turns that 78hp into 84! You will scare the devil out of Boxter owners as you appear in theri rearview mirror!
