Hi all, I just bought a 1971 911 T 2.2, non sunroof coupe with a 73 RS duckbill in black. One of my buddies has a 2.7 I am going to put in and make it my autocross/track/DE car. I was informed that the 2.2 liter is a popular choice for a 914/6 transplant. This motor runs good, I am freshening the engine next week, changing oil and filters, belts, and are tuning the carbs. I'd like to take offers, I can remove the engine for you, I can also drain all fluids and pack on a pallot for shipping if need be. The engine has 73,900 original miles on it, it does have a few tiny oil leaks and needs a starter. I will also get a new starter installed tomorrow (11/5). Hi Jay! I will accept offers over $1000, but under $2000. I was told to ask $2500 for the engine, problem is, if I ask that much, it will never sell. I'm not asking the world for it, I am buying a 2.7 for the car, so I want to sell the 2.2 liter.
