This was mistakenly sold to me a few years ago for my early 944. I finally went to fit it and found it fit the ignition lock assembly just fine, but couldn't get the keys it came with to work in my door locks very well. A bit of sleuthing revealed I was sold what appears to be a 914 ignition lock assembly. Strangely, I bought it off E-Bay from a vendor in Europe. Even with the shipping it was still a bit less than a new 944 lock cylinder, though it seems this cylinder is worth more than that as they are discontinued. I found a used one selling on E-Bay for $375.00! Below is a link to my thread on one of the 944 sections. If you're interested, PM me and make an offer.
