Thanks guys. Looking forward to adding more pictures as it develops. I probably won't do a whole lot to it this year, as it's too close to spring and I want to drive it, but plan on doing a lot to the interior next winter.

It wasn't he easiest thing in the world, but I just got confirmation that my 914 is now registered, so I can drive it on the road. Whew! That was a little nerve racking, but worth the risk!

a stunning pickup. congrats. your thread reminds me of the 914/6 i had in '75. it caught fire in the following year much like the remainder of my youth. thank you weber(s).
as i begin to slow down, i often think of getting back to the basics of my youth and trading my 'ol 475 rwhp 996 turbo for a proper 914 go-kart. if only it were set like the one you just got. i have just the jacket to complement that car lol
enjoy, and please post your first impressions.

I finally got the car back. It was at Kelly Moss getting full PPF and mechanical checkup to make sure it was all ready to drive. So far I love it. It’s certainly not nearly as fast as my GT3RS or 600LT, but still so fun to drive. The handling is amazing. I feel like it could hang with either in terms of corner grip lol!
It still needs to go back for a final polish and ceramic coating next week, but I wanted to have it for the Chicago PCA BBQ this weekend. I plan to drive it there if anyone else is going.
