the heater is already out and it is not coming any more, the car will have no heat at all, i want it light , I willl have to find away to get it through the german TÜV

Checking the suspension, the bushings were so hard, the suspension was not allowed to work properly

Brakes aparently from a 3.2 with 3.2 and also some turbo components , need to clean that mess as there is a hard point on the steering

Time to start taking the interior apart

Cards are out

Originals will replace those parts

Now the rest of the interior

Lots of weight saved

Now “just” have to remove the glue

Looks really nice- and it is a good thing the windows cranks are drilled. Piech would be proud....

lol, Piëch would say “styling leichtbau” because it is actually heavier even with holes than the original ones......

Getting rid of the glue, i have also to get a new dashboard as it has been covered in leather, looks kind of ok, but not really working when you want to reduce weight.
trying a momo jacky ickx steering wheel

Momo prototipo signature series Jacky Ickx

It fits although still not sure whether i wont replace it with a 914/6 gt steering wheel. Upholsterd dashboard not vorrect, will bevreplaced by a repro

Getting the glue out

Will judge entrance and egress with rollcage and roof to decide on the seat position

First try with the scheel bucket, only goes bolted with no rails, i like the naked doors with no cards, might leave the whole interior naked
