my friend is having problems with his 914-6, it is a 1970 with a crank fired ignition. he is having trouble getting a spark, as well as power to about anything. the starter will spin but there is no spark out of the plugs. the plugs were removed and checked for getting spark, it gets none. anyone have this problem?

Sounds like the crank sensor.
