cars is dark metallic blue, original was sand beige

I have been torn on this with mine... and I responded to your thread on the 912BBS site...

Your car... If you do not care about originality then paint it the color of your choice and enjoy it! Let the next owner worry about that.

Or, if you are doing this to sell it shortly after... original color would be the way to go.

I have been torn between the original color of my car (Polo Red) or going with my favorite color (blue)... plenty of time to decide... but one of those things were my mind is telling me 'keep it original color' and my gut is telling me to the heck with originality and paint it blue...





At the end of the day, most likely I will go with the Polo Red... but that Aga Blue is so beautiful...

I voted with the original color, but slate grey with red interior is something to behold.

Wow...tough call. I own a 1967 912 (original color polo red) and its gorgeous. Blue looks amazing but I vote polo red.
