Default Electrical Problem

I have a 1968 912, the red generator light has been staying on for a while after I start it but would always go out if I reved the engine. I have noticed lately that I have had to rev it a little higher and sometimes a few times to get it to go out. Now It wont go out at all.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I suspect the generator or regulator, and will probably just order a new regulator. While looking at the generator the brushes are worn below the brush holders. Where can I find new brushes.?

Replaced the voltage regulator and that solved the problem. I did get new brushes but haven't changed them yet.
