That car has to be wicked fun to drive... do not understand why you would want to sell it...

Jaime,
It is.
A 4 cylinder 11.3 cr, twin plug, titanium valves, ported heads, gt3 or close profile cams, 1 3/4 inch headers, 993 engine. Full engine management. No smog. 100 pounds lighter behind the rear axle than a 6 for far superior weight distribution and balance. Regeared trans with TBD, and other upgrades throughout. The wavy line on the bottom of the dyno sheet was because my passenger bank of throttle bodies was off a 1/2 or 3/4 turns lean, I found out later. Maybe on that day the engine was good for a couple more hp or lbs of torque? A 911SC is rated at 180 or so hp. That's at the crank not the rear wheels.
Why sell? I enjoy building them. If it doesn't sell, it's a keeper for sure.

Thumbs up

Chris,

Ohhh, I know what it is I saw it first on the Excellence magazine article, then on the 911 Early Registry forum (or was it the other way around??), either way, it is a awesome car both in looks and mechanical modifications done. Many details that are just too cool

I was just not sure why you would want to sell. Now I get it. Building it was great part of the fun. I know the feeling and thrill derive from working on projects .

Best of luck with the sale.

Default 2015 Porsche with 4 cylinder 911 based engine.

What a concept. Lighter, better braking, and handling. Neat idea.

My fix for the auto recline syndrome. This is on a 1964 356C seat. I tried to fix my recliners on my 912 3 times. I thought I had them perfect. I hit a pothole in the middle of a hairpin turn in the mountains and found myself looking at the headliner. I decided I wasn't going to die for originality.
I'll be sending another polished aluminum set out tomorrow. The aluminum ones are 4 pounds lighter per seat.
Polished aluminum or steel and chrome. The guys doing my chrome shut down so you would have to locate your own source. If you have questions go to contact us on the toolbar.

I took the alternator out to have it checked. Rated at 50 amps but produced 60 amps. With fuel injection and the lights on I probably need more like 75 amps. I'll deal with that this winter along with a couple other projects. I took a few pictures. At 8000 miles the engine is dry as Mohave bones! This engine is unreal. Wait till you see the other 912 POLO engines coming down the line. I talked to Dean for about a hour the other evening. A couple of 60 something guys just jacked about what we're doing. 1 in KC, 1 in Spain, 3 in CA, 1 in Asia. One of which is like a 2.8 with a monster cam, BIG ports, etc. My car is FAST, it will be killer. I can't wait for all of us to get together in a year or two for a drive. Over the next year or so I'll have some neat additions for my car. Life is truly very good

After giving some thought as to what my car actually is, I came up with calling it a 912 SUPER. What's a 912 SUPER? I would say a Porsche 912 powered by a POLO or Emory 2CAM4.

Elephant GT3 suspension

70-72 914 front calipers with 42 mm pistons on the rear. It maintains a 1.6 bias with the Boxster front calipers.

While the suspension pickup points where being reinforced we check all the pickup points. Perfect. And it's a 55 year old 67.

Strong.

Stronger

Custom jack points welded to the RSR type spring plate attachment points.

Rear coil overs.

Front coil overs.

The through the crossbar path to the fuel tank.

The pump and small filter. We have another 3X's as big hidden in the engine compartment.

More reinforcement.

Zero rust in the torsion tube.

Fixing a slightly pushed up sheet metal from a misaligned jack. ZERO rust inside.

Front complete with splitter. It makes a HUGH difference. At 80 mph in a strong crosswind the car runs strait and true.
