How to find a 912
I am a third generation porsche enthusiast and my grandfathers last porsche was a 1968 912. It was bahama yellow with bahama yellow interior. I cannot find a vin anywhere but do have some old pictures with the license plates.
Is it possible to find the car you think? where should i start?

I am sorry it was a 1966 912 and i mistyped the leather interior was bahama yellow and the rest of the interior was black

Was your grandfather registered with any Porsche clubs ? Do you know the buyer or a way to get in contact with them ? You could possibly contact the DMV with the plate number, not sure if they will give you any information though at all since I have never contacted them due to situation like this. The best of luck and keep us posted on what you find out.
