Hey Jaime. I will snap a photo tomorrow. I got the aluminum lid out of Canada via a Poland connection of theirs. Its something to behold. I have to drill the emblem holes in it next... Oh that has me on edge!
I am sticking with the good 'ol matching number powerplant as of today. I am going to send the whole lump away to get the aesthetics done so I can finish a few other things myself. Then I can plug & play once it returns.

Yeah... I played with the Aluma-lid and came to the conclusion that its too nice fort a street piece. I could not drill the holes, and think I may just make it wall art for the garage (polish it up all pretty). If the car were a racecar & I was looking for every single weight savings, or if I could trust that anyone who ever came into contact with the car would be careful with the lid (that is every time the oil was checked or someone showed off the engine bay)... But I know that would be impossible ~ so I am sticking with the robust and very good factory lid.

Absolutely. North Hollywood Speedometer did the art work on that set for me. Along with an upgrade on the tach (to stop it from wavering) and the quarts clock internals along with a more accurate temp gauge workings & sending unit.

Thank you. I should get my gauges ready for shipping as it will probably taker a while.
I admire your level of obsession. It looks like a lot of fun.
Hope you wont mind if I have to ask for advice occasionally.
Cheers
