I've got a 62 356 that I'd like to swap for a good 912. It's a coupe, original engine, great driver. The floor's been badly repaired, and it could use a carpet, etc. etc. I won't bore you with detail now, but if you're curious drop a line. I figure the value's about 7 K as it is now.
The car and I are in SW Virginia... not too far from Asheville NC.

hey, maybe you should join us on april 5th in asheville! the south east region of the 912 message board is having a get togather. going on a 4-5 hr run through the mountians, then on the 6th we are going to a car show, with over 100 porsches, out at lowes speedway (or which ever one it is) in charlotte. all that matters if if you have a love of the 912. it would be cool to see the 356 there, but if its not drivable, you can still come. infact the organizers 912 isnt ready yet and he'll have to drive as support car with his daily driver (not a 912). heres the web page fro the meet

im sure they wont have a prob with a 356 showing up, after all the engines are the same, and you are looking for a 912 anyways.
