Hello Everyone,
I am conducting a quick survey/reference request to all of you that have taken on the laborious job of replacing your front suspension pan due to rust issues. Whether you need a half or full front pan replaced, has anyone done any temporary cross bracing to reduce or eliminate any body twisting during the job? Since I am looking at attempting this job myself, I will be taking my time so that I can do the best job possible. Like allot of owners, I missed the train on being independently wealthy so I can't work on the car 24 hours a day like I wish I could.
I am going to be working on our car off-sight from our home while juggling family, work, 912 project and any other little thing that seems to creep up on projects like this. I am posting this survey because I for-see this being on supports for awhile and do not want to take the chance of any body twist while completing the job.
Let me know what you think on this topic.
Thanks in advance,
Trevor
