How much does your 912 weigh??
I weighed my 912 last Friday and here are the results:
with 1/2 tank of fuel and steel wheels (me NOT in the car), total wgt was 2012lbs with a perfect 50% cross wgt.
the left side of the car was approx 40lbs heavier relative to the right side. I attribute this to the battery, wiring harness, gauges, pedals etc....etc.... everything is over there.
It makes me wonder why Porsche didn't put as much as they could over on the right side to offset the wgt of the driver.... Hmmmm??? anyhow, with my fuchs on the car I'm sure I'm right at 2000lbs or dare I say less.... I'm going to find the difference between each wheel to know for sure. I'd say there is another easy (but expensive) 150lbs that could be shed if you start replacing lids, fenders and glass. I wish I could lose wgt that easily

Oh and BTW - that is with a custom and reinforced rollbar, oil coolers, accu-sump, sway bars and steel tow hooks in place. All of which I would guess adds up to at least 100lbs....
