Default Solex value

Hey guys,

I sold my 912 several months ago and I was cleaning out the garage. I have a set of Solex carbs, filters, cans in a box. They would likely need to be rebuilt as I had Weber's on it the entire time I owned it. I have not looked to see what these are worth but for someone doing a concours restoration they would be a great find. I'll let the honesty of rennlist tell me what a fair asking price is as I've been hanging in the 993 board.

Thoughts...interest?

I knew I should have gotten the pics first! I'm happy to get some and post them but it will be a couple days, sorry. I'll post them here as soon as I can.

On eBay, they go for $400 or so a pair regularly. If they are rebuilt, or are "guaranteed" by the seller to have tight, non-leaky throttle shafts, they are worth more. An entirely rebuilt, as-new pair is worth $1k-$2k.
