Can anyone tell e what the maximum tire size should be with 15X6 Fuchs? I looked in The Complete Porsche 912 Guide but it is vague whether it is 195/60/15 or 205/60/15. Appreciate any help.

well, both can work.. but there are so many factors involved in what size will work on your car.

1st what year is your car. if you have a 69, 205/65/15s should work (and will closer match the original tire height so it woudl match the speedo better),

optimumly 195/65/15s are the closest thing you can get as far as correct tire height for spedo etc. they will be about the best you can do on a swb with stock suspension bits. 195s wont rub either if you lower on the swb (65-68).

my 68 has 195/65 front and 205/65 rear. this isnt the most practicle thing to do though.. cant rotate them front to back (i have directional tread), and if i lower it any from the tall ride height i have i know the rear will rub. when i get my suspension done im going to get a pair of 195s for the rear so i wont rub and so they match the size on the fronts.

if you have a 69, 205s will do nicely. they wouldnt quite work the best on a swb though.
