Default 1966 912 replacement suspension pan

Hi

Has anyone purchased a replacement pan from Mid America Motorworks? If so are they reputable and is the quality good as well as a complete suspension pan?

I appreciate anyone input.

Thanks

Edward

when i had my pan done by my mechanic (who does full body resto's on 356's and 911s as well as mechanical work), he said he never gets any body pannels from tweeks (mid america) or performance products, because the fit isnt right, and that he only gets his stuff from restoration design.

by the way, restoration design is a rennlist sponsor, you can find their info on the sponsors link in the top right hand of the screen. (and its not a bad idea to suport those who support rennlist either! with out them we wouldnt have this fine place to post!)

I second Restoration Design. From what I understand, MAM and Performance Products get their metal from cheap (i.e. low quality) third world Asian knock-offs. Resto Design uses quality German metal.

Thanks for the info, after reading the advise posted I ordered the parts form Restoration Design, but am disapointed with them on their delivery. I ordered a month ago and have not recieved the parts yet, and they do not answer calls over the phone.

Thanks for all who responded to my post. Hope the wait was worth waiting for.

I'd have to say that is very surprising. I don't remember how long it took my parts to get to me, but I remember them being very helpful. So not sure what's going on there? Keep us posted...
