Default Largest Wheel for 1967 912

My grandfather and I restored a 1966 912 and since it isn't numbers matching etc I am looking to start a nice restomod project with it. I would like to know what is the largest and widest wheel and tire combo I could put on the car without modifying the body etc. I would like anything I do to be bolt on and bolt off to take it back to original. Thanks!

60 series tire on 6x15 wheel is as big as you can go on a SWB without body mods. Have fun.

I am running 185/60/15 on steelies but I plan on trying a set of 70s on my Fuchs because I saw a car at Luftgekuhlt running them. I like the taller fatter sidewall look for a race look. I will post the results on Pelican how it goes. I have attached my car from Pelican which has photos of the larger 60 tires. It had 55s on it before which I am selling.

It already has 15 x 6 Fuchs so I guess the next question is widest tire? Understanding torque to get them rolling. Just like the look of the outlaw/r-gruppe styling. Don't want to flare the fenders etc. I will probably lower the stance a bit and add some cosmetics to it.
