one of the 912 registry engine guru's, John Benton, is working on his new monster, a twin plug 356/912 engine, for use in his 68 912 coupe.
"The twin plug that I am building is a "just for fun project" for my personal car. I will share when completed, but it will be a while. I have to finish the headwork and sort out some of the titanium bits that do not exist yet. I am aiming for a less reliable high HP variant. After all, longevity isn't everything.....JMB"
i know i cant wait to see it. his current 912 engine right now is probably around 115-120 hp, very reliable (everything is done with extreme precision with his engines), and its fast! (well for one of these old 4 bangers it is). i wonder what kinda power he'll pull with this new one.
heres a pic of his car.. notice the stinger on the back, and his license plate frame, 'whats a 911?'

I would love to know how this turned out. A twin plug 912 just sounds fun.
