What are the holes in the rear fenders for?
I was under the rear fenders today and saw that behind the black plastic stone guard stuff the rear quarter fenders have these hole shaped plugs.
The holes look very similar to the ones I've seen in photos of 934s
[a] Are they standard, and do all 930 fenders have them?
[b] What are the for? They look too small to be usefull brake ducts.

Speaking of which...
When you do change out the T bars, you obviously cut a hole in the guard. At least I did. How hard is it to replace the guards completely?
Some mild heat from a blow drier to loosen any adhesive and pull off gingerly or...

I've actually removed the black stone guards and replaced them with clear 3M #8672 Polyurethane Protector Film. I also added the film to the nose and around the front light bezels. It was easily accomplished with the use of a hairdrier and gentle, even pressure to remove.
Once off, I cleaned up the area with Bug-Tar remover, used the old guard as a template and intalled the tape.
