Default Going lean @ high RPM

I just purchased a new 930, and no matter where I set the control pressure on the on the wur I am going to lean around 5500 RPMs in between 14 and 15 AFR. Turbo is a k 2729 hybrid. I've even tried increasing the pressure buy the mixture screw up top resulting in an overly rich idle and no help otherwise. The wur is stock with the exception of an adjustable pin mod, with the vacuum port on the side plumed, while the hose going to the top is open. Could this be my problem?

With a little late night Google session, I think the brass plug on the bottom of the WUR is the culprit. I disassembled the wur, pushed the brass plug back out... now bed. Will confirm tomorrow if it works. Or one of you could please let me know if I am right....

I would reach out to Brian at rarelyl8. Messing with "adjustable" WUR that is an unknown could end in tears.

From your description, I'm not sure that what you have is a Brian Leaske modified WUR. It would have multiple provisions for adjustments and if you don't have his manual to go with it, then you're shooting in the dark and can make things FUBAR in a hurry.

Here's a link I came across a long while back, general description of the inner workings of our WUR's that may be of some value:
https://docs.google.com/viewerng/vie...pdf/wurfix.pdf

I used to have Brian's complete manual but sold it along with my WUR earlier this year, otherwise I would scan you a copy.

I have a innovative wideband plugged into the system. It is definitely not a BL wur. Just the top pin modified to pull back out easily via allen adjust screw. I was right about the brass plug on the bottom of the wur being for boost enrichment. I will be taking the wur out one last time for a small tweak (knock in slightly for leaning it a little) and should be good. Mys AFR's on boost were in the 15 range before knocking it out... I am now in the 9.5-10 range on boost.
