Smile GENUINE FUCHS, built into 3-pcs 17" step lip 17x11 & 17x9 PRICE CHECK *PHOTOS*

Okay so I had a customer stroll in with a set of the following:

17x11 (et. estimated at around 10-15)
17x9 (et. estimated at around 10-15)

Estimated weight, around 15-lbs ea. give or take, only arm carry est.

The centers are genuine and the barrels are step lip so the centers were original at 16" wheels.

I'm looking for your advise as far as how valuable these wheels are, the customer is on the fence over a sale.

Thanks in advance.

Is he buying or selling them? Do you know who built them? Are they made for a 930? Might be Genuine center Fuchs with BBS barrels. Could be Lindsey wheels. l like them.

The owner has no idea, he purchased "as-is" from a relative from the owner. He hinted that he might sell them but asked me for some in-put. We are refinishing a set of Kinesis wheels for him so he's undecided if they will be kept or sold as of this point.

The centers are factory centers that is for sure, they have the factory numbers and ID, it would appear that somewhere down the line these original 16" wheels were cut and built into 3-pc wheels.

So for the record the centers are factory genuine if that helps any.

Hi.

Looks like the wheels I have on my -76. Dont know the exact width of mine but they have 255 front and 315 rears. I Have the reciept and they were made by monocoque racing in Santee california back in 2002. OE fuchs centers and bbs barrels according to the reciept. Great looking wheels and very light considering it's width and size. Really makes the 930 look the part!

WOW!!!! Those look amazing... thanks for sharing, I'm guessing from your tires sizes that you have the same set-up 9" and 11".... They are so light we put them on the counter without a worry!!!

I personally which I had something that would set them off as they do on your car....

FYI, the owner might sell for the right price.

Thanks! I love the look they give the car. There must be someone in the US that wants to buy those wheels

Good luck with the sale!

They're probably Lindsey Wheels made from 16 by 6 original centers. I have a set of their one piece 17's on my 88 Carrera.

I don' believe they are bbs. Typically the 3 pc Fuchs center/bbs are 20 bolt, those have a lot more. I've never seen a wheel with so many bolts. The problem is if you had to replace a rim. Someone may have started with a bbs and added the holes. I'm pretty sure the shops like Linsey, Truedesign etc all used 20 bolt.
