Default CDI to 6AL

Hello,

Changing from CDI to 6AL. Can someone provide the wiring instructions? Thanks

Diagrams come with the 6AL. Or you can get the diagrams and instructions from MSD's web site.

Improved spark can be had by avoiding the body of the car as steel only has 20% the conductivety of copper and Zinc coated even less,
The ground Cable should be long enough to get to the Neg post on the Starter Motor or if you did what i did and cut it short before i found that out i ran a single thick cable from the chassis directly to one of the 13mm nuts on the manifold to give extra ground then i ran copper strap from chassis to MSD remember theres only a couple of factory ground points and in lots of cases the transmission strap is either worn or loose or dirty and offers poor ground after twenty plus years with some 930.s hitting 40 soon
