Default Good place for a PPI in Houston Area?

Having a PPI done on an 88 turbo w/60k miles. Need a reputable place seeing how I am in upstate NY. The place selling the car said that there was a dealer down the street, but I do not know if there is some kind of relationship going on there. Jst trying to be cautious. Any recommendations? Thanks in Advance.

S4drifter,

If your car is on the southwest side of downtown, I would recommend you contact Eric Anderson at Eurocar-Werk. They are located at 5103 Gulfton in the Bellaire area (just south of the Galleria shopping center). I bought my 79 930 from Eric, and he and his crew maintained my 74 Ducktail as well as my 930 when I lived in Houston. Eurocar is authorized to perform DE inspections for the Lone Star region of PCA, and they are very thorough. They know Porsches and will spend the time to look your car over in a very complete and thorough fashion. Eric runs the shop and has been working at Eurocar for close to 10 years. The owner has been doing high-performance european car repairs for at least 30 years. They only work on Porsche, BMW, Mercedes and Ferrari. Give Eric a call....... 713-661-6428. And if you talk with Eric, please tell him "hello" for me.
