That truly is a shame.
It would take a lot to restore depending on what was done to make it look as it does. If you decide to let it go and are in the US I am looking for a new project car.

Is that a Steyer Pinzgauer or MB Unimog parked next to the 930?

Due to the rise in prices..it's worth saving. With that said, prepare to spend a few dollars to get her right. If you have patience then the parts can be found. If you can do some of the work yourself then the cost should remain reasonable. The whole body(except the doors) will need to be sorted. Makes for a cool project...but as I said before it will take patience.

It looks like the doors, front hood and shell are ok. You'd need 2 front fenders, 2 rear quarters, front and rear bumpers with valances and the side rockers. I'm sure lots of misc stuff along the way, but if it was me I'd take my time in gathering up the parts and drive it until you do! I'm not sure why, but looking at that car makes me think the driver will step out wearing a plaid leisure suit....

I just did a track build converting a narrow body 964 C4 into a widebody Carrera RS look. I had access to a body shop that has restored early 911's to record breaking auction $$$, great mechanic and my own lift, space and time to work on it. The cost was considerably higher than you would think even with the friend discounts and took considerably longer than I planed. Finding 964 turbo parts is tough the same goes for early vs later 930 parts a lot of changes were made over the years. Your money is best spent by being as accurate as possible.
If your going to bring this back it is worth doing right and if my track build took 18 months to complete and far from a perfect restoration I have no doubt this will take longer assuming there are no hidden rust issues associated with the fiberglass trapping water or any number of potential unforeseen issues, problems, etc lurking beneath the growth.

I'd clean it up as best you can, get it dialed in and sorted mechanically so it's reliable, maybe do a new set of wheels and call it a day. Drive it and enjoy it.
It won't be original, true, but it will be just as much fun and start just as many conversations at the pump. Keep the headache and money in your pocket.

Hi Before you strip the car be careful you never know what you have until you research, point to note I purchased the last Euro ROW 3.0 930 for $20k after many people looked at it and thought the car was crap as it was so dirty and unbecoming and looked wrong to so many people now I have to sell it for a cheaper one because the insurance has risen so much.
Ive had a look
There were 400 934's made over two years by Porsche to race in Group 4
Engine type will be 930/71
can you post photo of engine?
Ive looked at photographs in the Porsche Performance handbook and your car looks to me like a 934, or possibly a Kremer Racing car?
I realise many made aftermarket kits for the 930 but the build quality on yours seems very well made , id be absolutely sure before you change things
Maybe someone with exp in group 4 history can chime in?
