Default main oil seal brand?

Anyone have a preferred main oil seal(flywheel) brand name. I am ready to install and start reading comments about various brands and not all are the same. Also comments about not touching the lip of the seal before installing. I am using the Sir Tool installation tool P234. You actually put the seal over the tool. So much for not touching the lip. Should I lubricate the lip prior to install? Plan to use Curil T on the outside edge of the seal. Thanks for your help.

Can't remember which brand.. but if you're really concerned, buy it from the dealer.. or try Turbokraft in AZ. They build a lot an sell what works. Curil T is fine.. I put it on the inside edge as well.

Tried to make contact with Turbokraft but not luck. The seal I have from Pelican is made by KACO and is OE per Pelican. It does have "Porsche" molded in the surface. I have read comments that Victor Reinz was the best in some opinions. Unless something else is recommended I will go with the KACO. Sure don't want to do this again.

Victor Reinz, Kaco and Elring all make the seal. Some folks have a brand preference but we sell more Victor Reinz.

and some of us have had some issues with Victor Reinz seals leaking and/or not being to spec within the past few months.

Now what do I do? Just installed the KACO with the Sir Tool device and it went crooked. Not sure why. Any trick to using this tool. I mounted the seal on the tool and used Curil T. Now waiting for a new seal.
Bummer.
