79 930 Possible purchase.
Came across a 40k mile 79 930. A friend of a friend has it and has not driven it in 4 years. Totally stock except radio.
Original Silver/Black, U.S. Car early delivery.
The car ran great 4 years ago. No oil under the car. Good service history at a capable local shop. Needs a detail, tires and the rear center reflector is cracked.
Any risks involved with bringing it back to life?
What's is worth?? Would like to offer a price that both seller and buyer are happy with. On the other hand I don't want to be upside down in it.
Thanks for the help.

Here has been my experience with 930 that are not driven- they don't leak until you drive them for a while - and then they leak. You'll really need a through professional inspection to understand what car will need. Valuation depends on condition, records, original paint etc. A good solid well documented driver 79 930 is a $100k + car these days.

List it on fleabay with thorough description. Set a high reserve. If you are still interested when it gets to the high bid at the end of the auction, make him an offer a bit above that.
