Default New 930 Turbo Owner

Just purchased a very low mileage car of Marshall Goldman. Completely stock, all original survivor. Jazzed to have it, aim is to be at The Quail next year and represent these iconic cars!

Marc, welcome to the Turbo forum !

I took one look at this blue car listed on ebay by Goldman and smiled thinking how beautiful this shape is in Prussian Blue ! Imagine my surprise as I read the ad which boldly states that this color is Iris Blue Metallic.

I guess that it is unreasonable for one to expect something as simple as fact-checking from a supposed "Expert" collection such as Marshal Goldman......

With all of the Porsches sitting around in this building and the legion of experts running around keeping them polished, one thinks that they could've taken 30 seconds to read the door tag and verify the color before placing their ad.

This is Iris Blue.....

The '86 turbo at Marshall Goldman is Iris Blue Metallic. Below is Prussian Blue Metallic
http://sloancars.com/4908/1986-911-t...y-11000-miles/

Both colors were offered in '86. There was also another Iris Blue Metallic offered in the 993 model like the one pictured-same name different shade.

I dont know why if lists that on the sticker under the hood. I just looked up the '86 turbo prestige catalogue from Porsche and the color chip for iris blue metallic matches that car.
