Putting my 1986 930 up for sale
After considerable debating I am going to be trimming my "fleet" of cars by 1 (I currently have 3!) and the 930 loses. As much as I love it and it has been a dream to own my area sucks for driving (S. Florida) and I have accumulated less than 300 miles in my ownership of this fine beast.
Will be on Pelican Parts, 6Speed and here if I can upload pics next week.
Basics are:
1986 911 Turbo; 22.5k miles Guards Red, Black
1 owner from 1987-2013 (when I bought it). No paintwork except the car came with boxed rockers and I had to put new ones on.
Car is in incredible condition, the bottom is cleaner than the top. It has a couple of very minor flaws but I am a full disclosure kind of guy and will take many pics of them.
It is modded with a turbo, Borla muffler, Andial fuel enrichment system, Kokelen intercooler, and cams.
The good news is I have all of the original parts and they are in nearly new condition. If people start to hammer at me that it is modded I will remove the parts, sell them and ask the same price.
I am just putting this out there to gauge interest. I will have a full ad next week.
Price: $95k which I think is on the low side of the market. If this proves to be wrong I will adjust.

Sounds like a real nice car. Some people dis Guards red but it's one of my favorites. If the motor work was done by Andial that might not hurt the value. Anyway I hope you get every penny of your asking price.

Seems slightly high. Good cars are going for 70,000. Not if it has 3 digit mileage, that's another story. I would love to see pics though! Love the iconic Whale tail.

Some pics. I will be away next week so I don't want to post the car yet. I have a real high end camera but I cannot get it to take good pics under cloudy conditions and I lost the owners manual. Go figure! I took some pics here and there but you get the idea. And the original parts come with the car so I added just a couple so you can see their condition.

Undercarriage was cryo-detailed. If you need to ask why this is what the underside of my 1968 Camaro Z28 (full matching numbers car) looked like after I got done with it. I am not normal!

What did the Cryo Run $?
Have not found anyone in Phoenix area that does it on Cars.
I Found A Guy here who did Cryo Cleaning on equipment of some kind, I told him if he started doing Cars He'd have a lot of business, for what ever reason he never followed up?

I thought it probably was cryo. I was thinking of renting one just to try it out and perhaps buying one for my rental fleet. Tell us more.

Cost for my car was $2,500 and took 2 days. I oversaw it and had them do every area over and over until I was happy so it is possible you can get it done cheaper. It is not a do-it-yourself kind of thing unless you have a lift and have experience with the machine. Very messy, dry ice, etc. I went to this shop to see a race car and they had just done a 993TT and I was so floored I signed up on the spot.
Even when I was racing cars I wanted every aspect of my car to be as perfect as could be. I am just like that. I always detail the engine, clean the calipers and suspension pieces when I have the wheels off, and will clean anything that I can when I do work on the car. Cryo is beyond amazing. Saved me from insanity!
