OK, you asked...

I personally hate almost all Flash intros, and almost always hit skip. I go to web sites to get information, not to be entertained. I would prefer if business owners put these dollars into further development of their web site contents. In your case, I would like to see more info on the products, with more pictures and more detailed descriptions. (What does that Billet Boost tube adapter look like, anyway?) Pelican Parts has a pretty neat web site, in that it has a lot of broad technical content. I think you have a lot of expertise in a much narrower area (Turbo / performance tuning) sharing some of this information on your site would be great.

If you ended up with a site that when someone asked a question on this forum, you could just reference them to a paragraph on your web site, wouldn't that be a great marketing tool?

I'll stop now. The fact that you have a web site up with the product information that you do, and that you spend all the time that you do sharing your expertise on these forums is a huge contribution to the'community'. I know you have helped me out on multiple occasions, often when you were responding to someone else that just happened to have the same issue that I did.

I agree with Jim technically, and I do skip almost every flash I encounter during the course of my working life. But, when I do browse around the web during my off hours, I appreciate entertainment when I see it.

Stephen... I like it! Job well done. I've played around with Macromedia Flash a bit and can appreciate the time and work that went into that introduction. I hope you outsourced that, for if you did not... you have too much time on your hands, or not enough P-clients!!!

I think the intro is way cool. Now do you want to create one for me.

Id like to know how long that took to create. Ive deviled in Flash a little, but it was time consuming and other than some simple stuff never really dived in. I prob. havent open the program on my PC in six months.

Wow guys...I wish I could take credit for this, but no way. This is the creation of Ryan Shankar. He is as gifted as they come. I can do the equal to motors, but have a hard enough time with the day to day computer use.

I do understand the need for more info. Aside from helping you here, I do have a technical web forum called turbo911.com. It is nothing but technical questions, projects and conversions. Besides, if I point and click it takes out the one thing I love doing...talking to you guys

i normally hate flash intros, they have nothing to offer, nothing worth seeing for the most part and serve absolutely no purpose other than eye candy.....

with that being said, i cant stop watching this one it seriously kicks some major ***, i love it!!

Default flash is blocked at many corporations

Stephen, I work at a large pharma company and your website is not accessible because of the flash script. Many firewall or content filters at corporations will bail when they detect it. What's worse is the page comes up completely blank, so you can't just "skip intro". Maybe you have hit-counts on how many visits to your intro-page go no further?

Flash intros are death on dialup.

Not to mention they sometimes crash older versions of Netscape.

Hey whos the artist on that track in the Flash. Is that an old Depeche Mode jingle? I want to download the MP3 of the track you used...

Default I love it

Yes Ryan is very talented! I previewed this about four months ago and I was blown away. The synchronization of music with video works very well.

Oh yeah - that would be my 964 Turbo that shows up right after the video clicks through the model names - right after "Cayenne" I turn all my friends onto this site.
