Default Rennlist Intoduction

Hey All,

I'd like to introduce and welcome a great guy to the Rennlist family. He is Tige Savage from Northern Virginia (NoVa) and he is a total gear head; cars, planes, jet skis, Jeeps, etc, etc ....... but more importantly he is a PORSCHE guy !

He owns a 997 Carrera and a gorgeous 356SC Cabriolet and he has a wish list that he wants fill !

I've told him that the the Turbo forums and the GT3 forums are the most fun....... but I guess I'm a bit biased!

Tige, welcome to Rennlist (like the Hotel California)...."You can check out, but you can never leave "!

By the way Tige...how about a pic of your current Porsche's, especially that 356.

Thanks Bert and Rey, for the warm welcome ... maybe there will be a 930 in my future

Rey, here are a few photos of the 356 - it's a '64SC Cab (Euro). with a pretty neat history.

In the middle of doing a little more work but it's getting closer ...

Tige,

Welcome, great tastes in cars, in friends maybe you need a little help, . Let us know how we can help you squander you hard earned $$$. Coming to rennlist is like the anti-AA, we all have a bad habit but we have no intention on stopping or being remorseful.

Hey Fred,

Yep the 997 is a daily driver. Silver '06 C4 coupe, bought new.

Nice, safe, reliable, terrific car. Been very happy with it.

But need to keep it real with some air-cooled, lower-weight excitement

Welcome Tige! Your 356 is amazing. I am also in Arlington. We are currently in an apartment in Pentagon City across from Costco. We had a house, but moved to the apartment before I went to work in my firm's office in Tokyo. Still considering getting another single family home here in Arlington with a garage. If you ever want a spare wrench, let me know! My dad and I have an '89 930 that lives back home in Clearwater. They are great cars, particularly around Sebring on boost.
