Yesterday I stopped for 1 hour in a traffic jam in Rio de Janeiro. It was very hot : around 40 Celsius ....
The engine stopped working ....
Had to wait for 1 hour and then it started working well again.
Is that usuall for the 930 ?
Hope someone can help me .....

Yep. Happened to me and my dad on the way to the 24 hours of Daytona a few years ago. A few of the caps in our CDI box gave up the smoke. We only made it to the iHop and the X-rated video store there about 0.5 miles from the track entrance.

If you have a Bosch CDI, turn the ignition on and you should hear a buzzing noise coming from the CDI(looking at the engine, it is located on the left side of the engine bay, mine is located behind a plastic cover). You can also search the internet regarding how to peform a test fort the CDI. I had one go out. I replaced it with a Permatune CDI and coil but for some reason, it did not perform well. I went back to an original Bosch coil and rebuilt Bosch CDI. Good luck.
